Anyone else having to wait a long time for smear test results?

8 weeks now and still no results (East of England) 🙁

Have you chased up the results?

If you have no resuts then take it as a good thing, if anything was wrong with you smear then they would have contacted you asap.

They said it was because of the March awareness campaign- the labs had become overloaded. So I knew it may take up to 4 weeks instead of 2.
The surgery said another girl had called just before me and still hadn’t had her results after 9 weeks.
It’s just making me feel especially anxious as my last result was borderline x
