I had laparoscopic surgery yesterday to remove three cysts off my ovaries. One was complex with septation. While she was in there she saw that both my ovaries were completely encased with endometriosis.
The surgery was a total success she was able to get it all out
My symptoms mimicked those of ovarian cancer. I was so scared it was going to turn out to be sinister because of what I read online.
For those with cancer fears please don’t trust what you find online. My cysts were sent away for a biopsy as standard procedure, but my gynaecologist says she’s 99.9% sure it’s non-cancerous.
There’s a lot of things that can cause problems for women and in most cases it’s totally fixable and has a positive outcome.
I hope this helps anyone else who may be going through similar issues.
