Sudden increase in facial hair/PCOS

Hi all

I'm 39. Contraceptive pill from 17-30yrs then sterilised during 3rd c section.
I've always been hairy than normal but lately my face hair has got worse.
I've been online and seen its a symptom of two cancers and now I'm worried.
My GP did some initial bloods and said they came back normal.
I spoke to another GP who listened to my concerns and he said he would refer me to a gynaecologist.
I'm so worried.
