Hi all,

Hope all are well.

I often find that after a panic attack, I feel absolutely rubbish for rest of the day (until I can lay in bed and sleep).

I find that my heart rate (even when it slows) is much more reactive to movement (i.e. it will climb to 120-130 if I stand up) and my stomach gets these waves of what feels like adrenalin for hours after the panic attack.

My stomach also feels tight and bloated and my body feels generally rubbish.

Is there a chemical reason for this? My understanding of adrenalin is that it disappears or rather burns from the body quite quickly, but I seem to feel the effects of it for hours afterwards.

Is there a way to combat this?

Thanks and best wishes
Nick
