    The 'swelling' you are referring to is probably lymph fluid being retained Kestral, as once some lymph nodes are removed the fluid has trouble finding the right way to exit the breast tissue. I think you are both doing great, and I agree with Pulisa that it sounds like you make a lovely team !

    Thanks for your messages. Her treatment has been rescheduled to start tomorrow now.

    That's 8 treatments now so 7 to go before her being signed off, next comes a bone density scan.

    Skin has gone a little pink but so far ok, the third week may see a little more reaction.

    There was a cream they gave me at the cancer clinic when I had rads on my neck. For me it was bad to the point I had peeling skin. It did help sooth things during treatment but it really helped once I was done in healing. I know you can get it online. *fingers crossed I can remember*

    That's the 15 radiotherapy treatments done so fingers crossed things will be ok now. Another appointment in 6 weeks to confirm any treatments etc is the next stage.

    Having a bit of fatigue and tearful at times. The area of treatment looks red but it will probably be a while before it gets more normal, she has handled things brilliantly.
