Persistent pelvic pain and bloating

I’m just 40 and feel like I’m falling apart. For the last 10 days I have had constant wind, cramps and what feels like the worst period pain ever. I’ve tried buscopan, merveberene and peppermint capsules to no avail.

Saw my gp who said I will need a scan as I have previous history of ovarian cysts. I am on cerelle so never have a period (which is great)

I’m just so scared it’s ovarian cancer as I’m bloated and in pain all the time. Does a pelvic scan only look at uterus and ovaries?

I don’t know actually, I recently had one to look for cysts.

It’s very rare at your age for a cyst to be abnormal. But I expect you know that if you’ve had cysts before?
