    Ativan / Lorazepam dosage

Ive been prescribed Ativan for anxiety. To take when needed. I have to have gall bladder surgery next week and am very anxious. Is it ok to take Ativan every day. Maybe morning noon and night?
Otherwise I dont know how to get through this week.

Yes, but you should get your doctor's okay first and also let the anaesthetist know how much you're taking. Gallbladders are mostly removed by 'key hole' surgery these days, so there are only 3-4 small incisions. I was released from hospital less than 24 hours after having mine removed. The second easiest/uncomplicated operation I've had.
