Anyone had a benign breast lump... but the started worrying again ..

I was diagnosed with a fibroadenoma in pregnancy but a year on I’ve started panicking about it again, felt it the other day and I think it’s the same lump it’s roughly the same place but I think it’s got a tiny bit bigger - I’m just worrying about it all over again and worrying it’s not the same lump - anyone had one removed? It’s not normally done but you can do it and I’m starting to consider it so I can forget about it!

I don't think this is necessarily a path you want to take as a person with health anxiety, Gee. I can see from your other threads that you have multiple worries, and I think that getting the fibroadenoma removed will just bring various other sensations to the fore and lead to further unnecessary procedures.

Better to treat the anxiety instead.

Yeh I know - I flit between 2 things, I constantly say ‘if I didn’t have symptoms I wouldn’t worry’ what I would love is to be able to accept things sometimes and what I would also love is if I was diagnosed (obviously we all hope we never are) with something in the future is to be able to cope ... to be mentally strong -and to have the attitude of if it happens it happens and then I’ll deal with it !

But for now I’m worrying about this stupid lump in my boob and if it’s the same stupid lump as before 🤦🏻*♀️
