actinic keratosis (Scared )

Hi all .. new to this site .

Right! Went to the doctors today about a hard white lump I’ve had on the side of my nose for the last 4/5 years , he said it was a condition called actinic keratosis and give me a cream and said to come back in 6 to 8 weeks - now getting home and yes going on google 🙄 I’ve made my HA a million times worse with constant worrying. Anyone else have/had this ?

Try not to panic? Most actinic keratoses don't turn into SCC, and even when they do it's a very treatable condition. I haven't had SCC but I've had a BCC removed and despite being mortally afraid of all medical stuff (to the extent I once failed to seek treatment for a broken elbow) it wasn't a big deal.

I’m trying not too - just so hard .I hate google 😢.

In my mind I have it and it’s all over my body ect ... hate HA!!!!
