    Hair loss

Ive mentioned this before but only mentioning my head. But ive got hair loss in other areas (my eyelashes always fall out only like 1 or two a day), pubic hair when touched comes out and my eyebrows have always been thin but idk of they look thinner to me. Im scared that i have alopecia universalis has this happened to anyone before?

Hi Delilah. I remember you posting about this before and you were going to see your GP? Did you go?

    Re: Hair loss

I have an area in my hair line that is very thin where you can see my scalp, especially if I wear my hair back. I started noticing it a few years ago but didn't give it much thought until it started getting worse about a year ago. My hair lady told me it was from having my hair parted in the same place for so long. She said I should change my part every few months. Well, I actually had my iron checked not long after this and found out my iron was very low. I started taking supplements about a year ago and the hair is just NOW starting to grow back so mine was related to the low iron because I still part my hair the same way.

    Re: Hair loss

Eyelashes and other hairs do come out, and are then replaced by new ones. That's totally normal, unless it's leaving bald patches. Tying your hair up too tight can damage and break it (according to my hairdresser). Stress and anxiety can lead to increased hair loss too. If you're worried about alopecia, talk to your GP. I still think you should talk to them about your anxiety too And set two alarms!
