Lots of luck. Not being patronising but I think you are really brave. X

Thank you everyone for your kind comments. The doctor quickly examined me in the area I can feel the lump and said she can't feel anything. I always hate when that happens - when I can definitely feel something and the doctor says they can't. But she said she is quite happy that there is no lump there, so I'm relieved that she's not able to feel anything that might raise alarm bells. She didn't spend long examining me, I'd say about 20 seconds at the most, but I'm going to trust her that she's the expert here and not me.
So I'm going to draw a line under it, and even if I can still feel whatever it is next month when I do my monthly check, I'll keep telling myself that it's normal, whatever it is.
I still feel a bit anxious about it but I'll deal with that. The bad thoughts are still trying to creep in but I'm telling myself that that's all they are - thoughts, and not reality.
Thank you all again for the well wishes!!

Excellent news! Boobs can be lumpy and bumpy anyway, but I think you were right to get checked. Thank you for letting us know, and am so pleased nothing was found. Absolutely, draw a line under it and carry on living your life

Could it possibly be breast tissue you are feeling and you can’t feel the same on the other side? Sometimes we have more in one breast than the other. Drs tend to be pretty good at finding things and things we haven’t found ourselves. I went with a swollen lymph node behind my ear last year and she said “yes it’s swollen as is the one at the front of you neck” I hadn’t even noticed that one.

Im pleased it was a good outcome for you x
