You’ve also had anxiety for like 7 years...
I'm still a work in progress.

I had this. Doctor heard it while listening to my chest. He was totally not worried but told me to drink less caffeine. I did, and it resolved. Might be worth a try? Are you seeking any help with your anxiety?

Hi Hypo27
I've got the exact same symptoms as you. Noticed and few skipped beats and now find they are increasing (particularly after I eat). I can get sooo many and it can go on for hours. I also went to A&E and they did an ECG which came back normal. I am now seeing my GP about them. They did a second ECG which came back normal and blood tests that were normal/satisfactory.
I am now waiting on a 24 hour ECG. Try to stay calm, my doctor did say that they are pretty common and usually not a sign of anything to worry about. However, to put your mind at ease, maybe make an appointment to have it checked out (sorry if you already have, haven't read all the thread).
I find this site helps a lot when I am panicking. Also watch someone of the youtube videos by a doctor called Sanjay Gupta, he's a Cardiologist from York, UK who has done some videos about ectopics - they may help you a bit too.
It's the worst feeling and they are so scary, I 100% know where you're coming from. Hope you feel better soon!
I’ve had these skipping beats for a month straight now that can’t be good!? I’m so scared I know it’s not caffeine because I hardly ever drink any. I’ve also been really lightheaded everyday too I wonder if it’s from the skipped beats?? I have a stress test scheduled for tomorrow but I scared to even do it :( I’m worried I have a serious heart issues or something...
These aren’t like a fluttering feeling or racing heart like a lot of people describe here. I can actually feel feel my pulse in my neck when it happens and my heart actually stops momentarily :(..
I’m guessing no one is replying because they haven’t had this? I’m really worried this is serious :(
Palpitations are almost never serious; no need to worry.

No seriously - I’ve had the exact same thing! Trust me - I feel my heart momentarily stop too and then a thud and then returns to normal. You need to relax - it is very scary, I know but a lot of the time ectopic beats are not serious. I’ve also had mine daily since July, some days worse then others.
Just speak to the doctor about your concerns. They will be able to help put your mind at ease.
As I said in my previous posts, you should watch Dr Sanjay Guptas videos.
Your heart isn’t stopping, it’s an extra beat... that you don’t feel.
Please relax and speak to you doctor!
Feel better soon!
Hypo, I have had, as I've said before ectopics on an almost daily basis for almost 30 years. SOme days only a few, some coming and going all day.
