I know it's tough, but what sort of hobbies or interests do you have?

I usually like reading, watching movies and going to shows and museums.

But at this time I am so worried about my body that I literally can’t concentrate or find interest in anything.

Baby steps, maybe? Even simple phone games can really help.

Got my own health scare at the moment and I've had to put my hobbies aside because I can only concentrate on casual games.

I’m trying to go for walks even though my legs are hurting and feel like spaghetti.

Okay, pro tip: stop reminding yourself and us how awful you feel.

There's a lot of value in faking it til you make it.

    I agree with you.

I’m wondering if the cortisol and adrenaline I’ve been pumping for months could be the cause of twitching and pain. Is this a known occurrence?

How about the preexisting "physical" condition you have along with your anxiety disorder, rather than imaginary illnesses?

Ankylosing spondylitis doesn’t cause this but it is an inflammatory condition and I will talk to my rheumatologist about my legs. Sounds more neuro though but could be inflammatory I guess.

How can you be so certain the cause is "neuro", especially since you've had a clear MRI? How do you know that your AS hasn't progressed - as you already have this condition?

You appear to assume many things, Seymour - most to fit your imagined fears.

AS doesn’t cause that type of pain in the legs. Myositis might.

I walked 2.5 km today. Legs felt tired and a bit sore but better than last week. Am I right saying that with ALS things never get better even slightly?
