Any good books to read to help me deal with Claustrophobia?

I have terrible claustrophobia and have for as long as I can remember. I am taking a trip soon which will involve situations that terrify me, including being on a plane and going in lifts. Unfortunately I can't easily get out of it without consequences. I wonder, can anyone recommend me any good books about claustrophobia that might help me to deal with it? Something I can download onto my kindle or phone and read while travelling would be great. I would be so grateful.

Personally I wouldn't read anything about the subject while travelling. I would opt for something that would make me laugh or give me comfort. The last thing you want is to read about the subject when possibly feeling it too. I find mags easier to read on journeys or something fantasy, comical, a biography of someone you admire or something light like a fact book. Definitely not a newspaper.
But if you feel the need for self help books, try 'feel the fear and do it anyway' by Louise Hay.

Thanks, I'll look that one up.

I managed that particular trip but did end up climbing a lot of stairs to avoid lifts, I guess at least it keeps me fit...

I also have really bad claustrophobia. Long plane/train/bus/car rides and the automatic car wash are my worst enemies. Let me know if you come across any good books, please.
