A good response to meds off the bat... anyone else?

I’ve been suffering chronically for a couple of years now with depression that I hadn’t really
Been able to personally accept, I was just low, anxious, just waiting for the cloud to lift and finally accepted I might need a bit of help medically - started taking my antidepressants this week (having spent a long time even considering it) and it’s been instantly lifting.

I have found I sleep better but do have insomnia (which is better than my old
Routine of bad sleep and lot of stressful rem) and I have more energy. A bit of nausea but again I tend to Get that from my anxiety anyway.

It is a bad thing that I’m doing well so quickly? Has anyone else taken well to their meds straight away? Please share experiences.

    Thanks

I found the citalopram kicked in really quickly for me, although like you, I did find the nausea took a while to shift. I felt sleepy, but I kind of enjoyed that - the only negative effects I had were a couple of days of feeling drunk when I first started taking it and when I upped the dose.
