I have the exact same thing going on right now. Left of my belly button I've had sharp pains and tenderness today. I've been on a diet recently and fell off the wagon for about 48 hours. I had two fast food meals, and a large coffee for breakfast this morning. After breakfast is when the pain started. I noticed I have a lot of bloating/gas, which was almost completely gone with the diet I was on. Ugh, I'm so mad at myself, and now the old health anxiety is kicking up, thinking I have cancer in my descending colon, as that's the only thing in that spot when I looked at anatomy pictures. Let me know if you find out anything. I've never been formally diagnosed with IBS, but whenever I eat junk or have a lot of stress, my bowels go crazy.
