    Gamma

    Anyone know much about blood results? I had bloods done and everything was ok apart from menopause. I asked for a copy and I noticed my serum gamma gt level is high but rest of liver test was normal i.e alt etc. Now im flapping but surely wouldnt they have mentioned this if i was serious.

    That usually makes the gamma high but I doubt it in your case.

    If you are worried I guess you need to ask them if it is all ok.

    I'm wondering if medication can raise it? I take co codamol everyday.

    I have m.e so it makes me feel partly normal. I might cut back on it.

    Own fault.

    I had some bloods took last week and i got word to say make a routine apt. I was told I was menopausal and everything else was ok. I asked for a printout of the results and noticed my gamma gt was high. All my other lft's were ok. If i hadnt asked for the printout I wouldn't have known. Now I'm googling and panicking. Surely if it was a concern it would have been mentioned? I hate HA.
