    Rabies

This is quite disturbing so just read with caution
It was like 7 years ago we had so many kittens in our house and they started getting sick and about 2 or three sadly passed away.
I remember touching the kittens that died and they were rock solid and ice cold im not sure if rabies killed them (or if animals can pass it onto their litter) and i dont remember if they scratched/bit me before their deaths.

I ask this as ive read rabies can be in the human body and not show symptoms for up to 8 years but that was only documented so they dont know if it could be longer or not.
Anywho im really worried does anyone have any info they can tell me regarding this?

    Re: Rabies

I have moved your thread to the rabies forum so read the sticky thread in there. We don't have rabies in the UK so where did you get this idea from?

The same reason you won't trip over leprechaun on your way to the kitchen and fall into a black hole that nobody noticed before.

You are worrying over absolutely nothing. Treat the anxiety and you wouldn't worry about things like this

    Re: Rabies

The last case where someone was infected in the UK occurred in 1922, the last death from indigenous rabies was in 1902.

The disease was eradicated and Britain was declared rabies-free in 1922

The only deaths there has been from rabies since then in the UK are from people who have been exposed to it while they were outside the uk.

It's not being rude, it's being equally ridiculous. Just because you're worrying about something, doesn't make it legitimate.
