Constipation

I never got diagnosed with IBS but I think I have it. I sometimes get constipation 3 or 4 days in a row but never 5, a record. I don't Google which is why I prefer to ask you sensible folk for advice or reassurance. Is 5 days a long time? I don't got control on what I get to eat and can't exercise outdoors, I do yoga for constipation but no effect this time. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I had jabs for flu and pneumonia 6 days ago. Could there be a connection?

I'm doing YouTube massage too but no joy as yet

I guess folk with IBS ussually got the opposite problem to mine and wish it was the other way

I know there are laxatives pills you can buy but that's a last resort I'm taking enough pills already

I guess what I'm asking is from how many days without a poop is it a problem

I believe my wife had constipation for 6-7 days, can't remember exactly.

Try some prunes, dates, dark green veg, dark chocolate.
There is an exercise you can do to help.
Lay on the bed clutching around your knees and rock back and forth and from side to side.

You have mentioned oxy before and I don’t know if you are on any other pain medications but if so, they are known to cause constipation. I know you don’t want another pill to take but just in case nothing else works for you, Colace is a common softener that you can find most places. Just a suggestion if you are on any pain killers presently. This may prevent the problem for you in the future. Being a nurse I can’t give medical advice so I’m only telling you from personal experience that I have had with a family member with the same problem.
