    Unhappy Work situation

I posted the other week about my possible transfer it’s fallen through as they don’t have the hours for me at the other shop. I am looking for another job but it’s all xmas jobs sadly the issue is they are getting petty timing my breaks making sure I finish a shift exactly on the dot time. They have also picked on me for not putting stock out quickly enough. Over all not a great place to work now. Is there any hope? I have considered going back to college for a career just no idea what I would be good at or get a job out of?

Why don't you sit down and discuss these things with your wife as she is a big part of your life now.

I wouldn't be asking complete strangers what to do, I would ask my friends and family.

Whatever we say makes no difference so talk to them.

But you have to take control of your own life not ask us what to do.

Agreed. The questions you're asking are rhetorical in nature.

This is something you need to figure out.

My advice would be to get out of retail while you can Phil. Retail is just going to get tougher and tougher. My Partner works for a big high street retailer and it's becoming all take and NO give as things get tougher.

Yea it’s awful. I am actually on holiday from work now I should feel happy however I feel sad and all I can think about is the manger moaning at me and how the transfer fell through. I have looked for more jobs but they all seem to be xmas ones? I’d need to go to college to learn a skill

You need to address your “issues” before learning a new skill,Phil.
I really hope you find a job,to keep paying for all the things you through out.
    Maybe Social Work.

My life can’t be on hold to wait for my ocd or anxiety to get better I had a long conversation about that before. The issue is how the anxiety is making me feel awful due to this work boss letting me down. I am unsure how to handle this

Stop blaming other people for your mental health problems... the problems are yours and yours alone and only you can fix them.

your OCD will not get better how ever long you just sit and wait for it to....
