    Ironically not for the diarrhoea but for the nausea and it seems to be offsetting any withdrawal - I’m at 7.5mg now for past 4 days and nothing I hve no increase in anxiety or any depressive thoughts. Only nausea

    The lack of anxiety and depression may be partly due to the longish mirtazapine half-life and also the hydroxyzine. It tickles most of the same receptors to about the same degree. It is also a fairly potent anxiolytic. Not quite in the same league as BZDs, but pretty good.
