Hi Mr Lurcher, how old are you cocker? Only I'm in my 50s and my spine is wrecked. I've been scanned on all three parts of the spine and I'm sick of hearing the words. 'Degeneration, wear and tear, you're knackered love' etc. All those years of manual labour are coming back to haunt me. When I was a teenager, I worked in the pottery industry heaving massive lumps of wet clay around - the large size that blokes were usually assigned to do. I'm 5ft nowt so this was never going to end well was it? Worse? I laboured for 6 foot blokes who were built like shithouses and who stood there taking a baked plate off a mold. I know right? I have a bit of nerve impingement as well - but it's basically an age thing. My lower back cops for the worst of it - that and my neck where there's arthritis, and it sounds like I'm rattling a packet of Quavers when I turn to the side. Do yourself a favour and buy a heatpad. I wouldn't be without mine. Actually, I have two. Also a cool pad.
Another favour? How much time do you spend hunched over a laptop Googling your symptoms? That'll give you back ache, for sure.
