Is your cousin a doctor?
Is your cousin a doctor?
Haha, no, far from it!
But having diets lacking in meat and dairy makes you more prone to B12 deficiency, although we do eat lots of eggs and fortified milks/cereals/cheese's.
Even a vegan (although I'm technically not by eating eggs, honey etc) forum I'm on suggested getting tested if you feel tired a lot, irritated and in a low mood. I last had bloods a year and half ago, but I don't think CBC includes B12? So, yeah, a bit triggered tonight.
So I take it that your cousin doesn't know about your HA then?
Will you be booking in the rest of your family for blood tests too?
Worst case is you buy and take a B vitamin supplement and see if it makes a difference. It certainly won't hurt you if taken as directed. The wife and I take D supplements and other vitamins and have had no ill effects and in fact, we take an E vitamin supplement and we've noticed improvements in our skin and less wrinkles etc.

I do. I have so many symptoms with my fibro, IBS etc that it's hard to know what's causing what but I noticed that within days of starting my B12 supplement, the bloating went away and I've not had it since. Apparently B12 deficiency can cause bloating. Tired? I'm always tired. Grumpy? Yes, but then I've always been a bit grumpy lol
Before you go off on one about Vit B12 deficiency, my husband had it to have injections and now he doesn't have to. It only becomes serious when a severe deficiency goes untreated for a long time and by then there will be very obvious symptoms that go way beyond tiredness (my husband's main symptom) A blood test will tell you if you're deficient or not but it's also included in general blood tests, so is it possible that you've recently been tested?
A thought is harmless unless we believe it.
Hi all, still here and feeling knackered every single day. And for the past week I've also been feeling as if I've got a cold constantly brewing, but not developing into a full cold. Tickly weird feeling up my nose, some sinus pressure, congestion, sore sticky eyes, mild headache, fatigue.
Really, really fed up. Had a week off work over half term too, but I just couldn't shake these symptoms. I started on b12 supplements last week, and did feel better after a few days, but now the fatigue is back.
So what's the diagnosis?
It’s allergy season?
