I've already lost my dad and uncle, I can't lose her, no, please no.

Did the doctor admit her to the hospital? I can tell you’re terrified for your daughter and as a parent you have a right to be nervous for her. I do hope you can find strength to not fall apart in front of her though, because falling apart does not and will not help the situation. She is going to need you to be strong for her. Your wife and other children also need you to be a rock for them right now. I know it’s easier said than done but please try your best not to fall apart right now, especially in front of your daughter. You don’t want to frighten her. Let the doctor do their job and go from there. Praying all turns out ok! Hang in there.
We’ve been sent down to paed’s unit in hospital. Doctor thinks her liver and spleen ar enlarged.
Oh no..........please not one of my kids. Please, please
It;s going to be f*cking cancer again isn't it? Or f*cking liver failure. On my little, sweet, innocent daughter.

No, they don't. I know this because it happened to my brother years ago. The cause? Working ridiculous hours for too long.
It could be a precautionary measure because they don't take risks with children. There could be very treatable reasons.
I hope all goes well and she has something easily resolved or nothing to be concerned with.

It’s not always cancer. I understand the fear but please don’t panic. You don’t know what you’re dealing with yet. I know it’s hard. She could’ve had covid and it’s causing these issues. They don’t know all the effects yet because it’s still a new virus. Just hang tight and see what the plan is. One thing at a time! I’m praying. I’m truly sorry you’re dealing with a sick child. (((HUGS)))
She's been examined and had bloods. She'll also be having a scan tomorrow. My poor little girl.
Not sure when we'll get results back, I'm not allowed in at the ward so I'm home. Docotr just said the most common reason for this is infection.
Her liver is quite swollen apparently........
It's all pointing to liver failure or disease - how at her young age? HOW????? She's only 4, 4.
The doctor said that the most common reason for this is infection.
We know you’re in a panic, but the doctor said the most common reason for her condition is infection. The bloodwork should show that, and it can be treated accordingly. Just look after your other children and yourself right now, and wait and see what the tests show. You HAVE to take care of yourself in order to be able to help your family and your little girl. I know you feel helpless right now, but she’s in good hands at the hospital. Hang in there. Keep us posted.
Some bloods have come back and all the doctor said that it could be a hepatitis type thing thats come on quickly.
A lot of google stuff says that acute liver issues or failures often requires transplants :-(
She’s going to be given vitamin K, but my partner couldnt say why. Says online thats usually a treatment in liver disease :-(
Life is not fair, my poor girl. I knew something was up with her but didnt expect things to be this bad.
Stop googling. Hard as it is you have to wait for all the tests to be done and assessed by her actual specialist. Dr Google is not in charge in her treatment or involved in her care.
