Im like that too! If i see one magpie it ruins my whole day - i know it shouldnt as magpies are only supposed to be unlucky coz they steal your shiny stuff, if you dont have shiny stuff on you then your fine - i cant help just clinging to everything to make my mind feel at ease.

Reading your whole post is like reading about my life - thank you so much!

OCD is a horrible trap and one very hard to break free from. Lets hope one day we BOTH make it out the other side!

just had to say about the magpie thing.
I know loads of people that when they see a magpie they have salute to it.
Me and me daughter included.
We just laugh about it now and accept it.

lol its seems it is very common - but i find even if i salute it its a sign of a something bad will be happening to me. Most of the time it dont, but i never learn.
