    When it comes to common sense it has been repackaged by gurus into self help. It used to be "tips" now it's "hacks" to tempt the latest generation into thinking it's anything new.

    Anxiety gurus are one such group. The things they say were likely being said by one Roman to another, one ancient Greek to another, one ancient Egyptian to another , one Viking to another (yes, I know there was no such people as it was a name for a trade ) , one caveman to another

    I think with so many of these things it's a mixture of a human need to search for stuff and money. Both allow for a market to be created. Just look at religion!

    I recall KK is a student of philosophy so I expect he has seen it endlessly.

    It's the same with conspiracy theorists too. There are some gems among the rough but they're probably not promoting themselves or asking for money/donations.

    I agree with you here lebonvin. But I'd replace the word cultures with maybe communities, or groups.
