I realised today that for some reason or another my roommate didn't throw out the old apples and just put the new ones (in their packet) on top. So for the last three days I've been eating these new ones (one each day) and I've been feeling a bit ill. Today after eating the third one and realising it tasted a little weird I realised the old, mould covered apples were still underneath. So I imagine the mould spores probably got onto the new ones and it's one of the reasons I haven't felt well.
I'm scared, could this be fatal? Should I just sleep it off or could the three day exposure have damaged me?
