    Reaching out - vaginal cancers

Period is due within the next 5 days, 3 days at earliest. I have been experiencing blood tinged discharge yesterday and I'm worried about cervical, uterine and ovarian cancer. I had abnormal cells removed on cervix so I'm always jumpy. Last time I saw GP she did pelvic exam (pushing around?) and no concerns. Most recent clear smear result was 2 months ago and HPV wasn't active. Please don't merge me, I haven't got any of these similar threads open.

It's right before your period, though, so it's completely not a big deal. It's happened to me plenty of times before, I've mentioned it to nurses and they haven't been in the least bit bothered.

My period is within 2-4 days though, and a few days ago it was slightly yellowish.

Yes, I often get spotting three days before my period - up to five, even.

No, just on and off. I know you're frightened, but that doesn't mean there's anything to be frightened of.
