    Citalopram and Bruising

    im convinced something bad is wrong with me i havent been any where to get bruises, im covering in a fair few

    Does citalopram cause them?

    Not that I know of

    I am covered in them all the time and no idea where I got them!

    Hi Frankie

    Im another thats always got bruises especially on my legs, never know where they have come from either. When i went in the bath last night i counted 7 small ones try not to worry im sure it wont be the meds, i just think some people bruise easily than others.

    There on my legs mainly no where else!!

    ive just done a search and they can cause bruises but im going to get it checked out just to put my mind at rest x

    i definately noticed more bruises when i was on citroplam,

    Am on fluoxetine (prozac) and have noticed bruises popping up all over the place for no apparent reason!

    So it must be linked then ive a massive one on my lef at the moment im going to mention it to the docs when im next back x
