    long term Mirt dose

Just looking for advice from long term users. What dose gave you less hunger? I went down to 15.... seems 30 had less cravings.. I love this medicine. Dr says there's no others like it. So looking for less hunger with it.

Perhaps consider trazodone (Desyrel, Oleptro), it's just as sedating as mirtazapine, but with more anti depressive action and weight is not usually an issue as it is only a weak antihistamine and serotonin 5-HT2c receptor antagonist which are the main carbohydrate cravings triggers. Mirtazapine is a strong 5-HT2c antagonist and very potent antihistamine, more potent than most of the drugs marketed as antihistamines.

For more info see: Stephen Stahl's, "Mechanism of Action of Trazodone: a Multifunctional Drug" (PDF)
