    Re: Coronavirus in numbers/facts (COVID-19)

Today the first case in my neighborhood was confirmed. I know the guy who is positive and now I'm really scared.
1249 people died in Italy, 1400 (more or less) were cured. It is getting really scary :(

Oh Kiko, I'm so sorry, it does sound scary for you. Are you staying at home and you have enough food there etc. ?

Thanks guys! Yes I'm inside and fortunately the first store is just in front of my house. We bought food for the entire week so we should be OK.
They're organizing a flash mob, this evening. We will open our windows and sing the Italian hymn "Il canto degli Italiani" all together. I think that will be beautiful.
We're trying to stick together but our spirit is getting lower by the hour :(

This WILL pass, Kiko. Keep making those plans for when this is over. You' re bound to get cases in your neighbourhood but all you can do is your best to keep your vulnerable loved ones safe. Your family is lucky to have you looking after them..Stay strong and positive and keep in contact online with your friends and whatever groups you find helpful and supportive x

Hang in there Kiko. The strategy will work but it will take some time. That's a cool idea about the singing. It will unite everyone even though you are all isolating inside.

Kiko, I can’t imagine how you must feel. Sending love & thinking of you. I was telling someone today about “this amazingly brave girl in Italy who is going through so much hardship”.
The flash mob sounds like a great thing to do. Some light in the darkness to make everyone smile & hope xx

I saw Kiko, that they were saying that it would take up to two weeks for the quarantining to start turning things around, so I think you've already done week haven't you ?
