At urgent care - super anxious.

Just asking for good thoughts. Going to any dr scares the crud out of me. I have Been having sharp lower right side pain all day. Doesn’t seem as extreme as what appendicitis shows online but they want to do an abdominal CT and bloodwork to see if it is early appendicitis.

My mind is only going to the worst outcomes of bad bloodWork results, ct finding something ominous. I’m having a hard time and I’m here alone - my husband is at work so it makes it that much harder.

How do you all get thru tests? Thanks 🙏

I don’t cope with tests well, so I don’t have any advice. I wanted you to know, though, that I read you post. I’m sending good vibes your way and just said a prayer for you.

Thank you for the kind words. Luckily the ct was clear and they found nothing that could have been causing the pain. The pain lessened after being there for so long and it’s gone now. But it is frustrating to not have a reason for it.

I was shaking so bad from nerves going thru the scan. But I made it thru and stayed relatively calm taking deep breaths after while I waited on the results. But the anxiety from all of it did wear me out a bit for the following two days. I forgot to come back and fix my post!
