    Citalopram and Tramadol

I am on 10mg on citalopram daily and have just been given 50mg tablet of Tramadol. I am quite unsure if I should take them as heard some interaction stories about them. Has anyone else had both and if so how did it go Many thanks in advance

There is a potential significant interaction risk, but both doses are on the low side so it may not be an issue. What is the tramadol for and does the prescribing doctor know you're on citalopram?

PS: are you on 10mg citalopram because you've only recently started taking it, or is that a long-term maintenance dose?
