New on here

Am new on here too. 39 year old mum of 2. In the past 3 months have had ovarian cancer & possibly bowel cancer!! Obviously not really, but have all the symptoms and am waiting for scan on ovaries. My cancerphobia started 8 years ago when I was diagnosed with skin cancer (basal call carcinoma) but still a worry. Have had counselling sessions which didn't help and am now on anti-depressants. I don't worry about anything else, only health (mainly cancer!). Please reassure me that I'm not alone and not going mad! Also has anyone any tips for getting rid of these awful thoughts which do tend to take over your life!!

I don't have health anx but there are many here who do. I don't suppose it will be long before you meet some of them!
