Soft Lump vulva

I’ve been suffering with burning down there and whilst putting on some steroid cream I felt a lump, it’s quite high up above the clit on the left.

the strange thing is the lump is completely soft, I can push it all the way back to the bone with my finger. I can also feel it more when I am standing with legs apart.

whilst lying down with legs apart it’s not visible, what is this?

Are you sure the lump you feel is actually inside and not on your skin. Because I had something similar years ago and it was in fact an ingrown hair that formed a soft nodule... Try not to panic

Then it could easily be an ingrown hair. Mine was the size of a bean...
