    When to worry about back/hip pain?

    So, a few (2) weeks ago my lower back/hip began hurting. I have already jumped to a few illnesses, but was trying to manage. It hurts more when seated and better when walking around. Anyway, for Sat, Sun, and most of Monday the pain was either gone or greatly diminished, but Monday night, I felt my mid back seize up when I got out of the car and now the lower back/hip area is hurting again. I had a doctor's appt last week and mentioned it to him and he gave me some stretches. My question is at what point to I go in and seek further advice? Why did it go away for the weekend and then return Monday night? I am trying not to flip my lid, but...

    Back pain is the most common medical complaint on the planet. If you're flipping out about it, it has to be because you're researching worst case scenarios?

    The reason it comes and goes is because back pain comes and goes. That's how it works.

    Do the stretches, don't sit down as much and don't google.
