    Clots with period normal?

I am on day 4 of my period and when wiping earlier wiped away a clot that was a little bigger than what it is usual with a period. Just wondered if anyone else has had this and if its normal?. Blood flow has lessened but still confused why i had this clot as its just added anxiety to my already severely high health anxiety at the moment over other issues :(
