It's horrible. I was meant to be going to a concert yesterday but the depression left me so tired I couldn't go.

How are you holding up? How's Tigger?

Tigger's eating wet food but still no sign on her trying dry food again, idk if her mouth still hurting and i'm scared she's got FIV

(cause the vet said there could be a underlying condition and mentioned FIV as being a possible )

feline immunodeficientcy virus or however you spell it

which basically means that Tigger could get sick from secondary infections if she has FIV and all the vet would be able to do is treat the secondary infections, i thinkits FIV that is the untreatable one out of FeLV and FIV but i could be getting them the wrong way round

    Re: whisper's spams

It might just be that she's scared to try dry food. My late, much-loved Arthur once had a gum virus that left him too afraid to try dry food for ages.

In the end, I got him to accept a couple of Dreamies, then pointed down at his bowl of dry food and told him not to be such a twit. Still can't believe it, but it worked.

what if it is FIV though (only reason i'm getting worked up about FIV is cause the vet mentioned it as a possibility )

If it is, it's not necessarily the end of the world. Many cats live for years with FIV.

That's a good sign, if she ate them her mouth can't be that sore.

You have to encourage her to be brave, m'kay?
