Phone stolen, feeling vulnerable and nervous.

Got pickpocketed yesterday; I have to share some of the blame for having my phone in a coat pocket but in some ways that just makes it worse. Feeling shaken, violated and somehow guilty about the whole business. I was going to replace the phone this month anyway, at least.

Currently very stiff and sore from the combination of muscle tension and spending a whole long day on my feet. Anybody got a hug to spare, please?

    Have one from me, Blue...

It's horrible to have this happen and it just gives you extra stress because phones are so important and personal to you. But at least you weren't hurt physically and the phone is replaceable although it will be a hassle to set things up again, I suppose? I just have a "brick" so don't know how easy this would be.

Don't let it get you down and spoil a precious day off x

Oh I’m sorry to hear that. I would absolutely feel the same.
    Big hug from me x

Thanks both. Honestly, it could've been so much worse - for once I'm grateful to Google because all my stuff's backed up there and as far as I can tell, all I've lost is a single selfie of me in a bar - not like I don't have a fair few of those!

I’d be so lost without my phone - so I feel for you!! And can totally understand why you’d feel violated, but you 100% don’t need to feel guilty! Just because some a$$ couldn’t be bothered to work for his belongings and chose to steal them instead, makes him a lazy bum and you an unfortunate victim. Don’t beat yourself up over this! Hugs

    Thank you!

Thanks to the wonders of technology and an incredibly supportive husband, I'm now on my new phone. Can't believe what an amazing, exciting world we live in - I'm just waiting on a new SIM card. It's been a tiring 24 hours and despite the jerk who did it, I'm feeling pretty grateful.

Urrrrrghhhhhhh, its a horrible horrible feeling having something of yours, that is so important, taken. I've had it with a camera and not a phone (in the days before we took pictures on phones) and it really disturbed me. Glad you are all sorted.
