Bitter taste in mouth

Past couple of days I have had a bitter taste in my mouth. I have post nasal drip but have had that for donkeys with out this taste.

My question is, is this a common complaint? And can anxiety cause it do we know?

Changes in taste can definitely be an anxiety symptom. I've had it quite a few times in my life for days here and there - and has tied in with breathing incorrectly/hyperventilating and dry mouth, or clenching jaw/teeth and therefore pressing my tongue for long periods. There have been times it has been so horrible (incidentally I have no gum or tooth problems) that I have sucked throat sweets just to mask the strange taste changes.
