Anxiety resurfaced, feels like I am drastically loosing control

    Hi everyone,

I don't tend to have the confidence to post on forums but I am trying to do what ever I can to get a handle on things at the moment. I hope I have posted in the right place, apologies if I haven't.

I went from feeling in control to, click of the fingers, complete feeling of loosing control in the last 3 weeks.

I now struggle to control myself all the time. I am constantly trying meditate, breathing control, light exercise all throughout the day and night time is getting worse.

I am trying all the things I have learnt from the last 10 years having depression, anxiety and ocd but this is the worst it has felt.

I know I'm not the only one trying to deal with this but it sure does feel lonely at the moment.

Don't really know what else to write at this time my head is all over the place so I will leave it there.

Thanks to anyone who gives the time to read my post.

    Hey, you.

Thinking of you - anxiety's evil, isn't it?

Feel free to drop me a message if you want to chat somewhere that isn't quite so public, okay?

    Hi
I'm new here too. Am here really out of desperation to establish what's wrong with me. I have had horrid few days, feeling not at all in control and almost robotic and fake. I want to hide away under the duvet but have children so must keep going. I'm also considering mine is also hormonal imbalance due to perimenopause and hrt. Not sure I will ever really know what's going on with me as I would find it difficult to articulate to a doctor or specialist.
I wake full of dread and thus dislike going to sleep so stay awake till late.
It's a repetitive loop for me at the moment I seem to have a few good months then I woosh back to where I am now. Anxious afraid exhausted constant racing thoughts about nothing and everything.
    Anyway Hi 👋

    Hi there.

I no it is one vicious circle. In the past 4 hours I've had a meltdown and then sat and cried twice. Trying to calm myself down but I think tonight is going to be long one.

I too try and end up staying awake, then when I finally go to sleep i wake full of dread and i struggle to breath heart racing. Took me about 3 hours to be able to get myself together to just put my pc on and check my emails.

    Hi

    Thank you.

Evil is even too nice a name for it and everyone I know just doesn't get it. They think it's just something you can just shake off.

The worst part for me is my heart rate it just makes me even worse, trying to concentrate on my breathing and feels sometimes that it makes me more anxious. But maybe that's just me putting that in my own head...
