I think that's very sensible. You do what you want to do. It makes sense to try to keep well yourself whatever the Covid statistics.

Poor President Biden has had some bad luck but at least he'll be left in peace to recover.

I'm surprised that no-one has mentioned this:

UK first country to approve dual-strain vaccine

The UK has become the first country to approve a dual vaccine which tackles both the original Covid virus and the newer Omicron variant. Ministers say the vaccine will now form part of the autumn booster campaign.

Moderna thinks 13 million doses of its new vaccine will be available this year, but 26 million people are eligible for some form of booster.

Health officials say people should take whichever booster they are offered as all jabs provide protection.

This one is only a slight improvement on the original vaccines though..according to the boffins.

I think Covid has taken a backseat to the CoL crisis, PM..

Sadly it'll be a question of which one will kill more - assuming we have a cold winter. Last winter was quite mild.

I reckon you're right Pulisa, as the COL crisis now seems to be the latest thing the media are putting the fear of God into us over, but (apart from today's announcement about the new jab), otherwise hardly a peep from the media in general about all things Covid.

Even the Ukraine thing appears to be getting more sporadic coverage of late, compared to earlier in the year.

But at least recessions/economic crises don't warrant full-on (Covid-style) national lockdowns though.

Just imagine; STAY HOME, SAVE MONEY, SAVE LIVES!

    (All mostly said in jest).
