Nevertheless, today's claim earlier on that deaths are at their lowest level since late August last year and other more 'encouraging' news trumpeted by Bozzer and Hancock earlier today seems like a bit of a cruel joke!

Still no talk of a fourth national lockdown though.
You're looking at it very pessimistically. Overall trends in the UK are actually encouraging. There are definitely going to be fluctuations regardless but many countries, including the UK are showing positive improvements. Active cases are dropping and recovered patients are on the rise.

Probably just me then, as I'm generally feeling on a bit of a downer today.

But like I said above, just one day's stats isn't fully representative, though the UK authorities and media don't generally tend to publish stats for active Covid cases and recoveries.

I'm sure one of the major news outlets (BBC or Sky News) yesterday said that the rise in overall Covid cases throughout the UK may now be starting to show signs of slowing down.

That's nice to hear from you.

As I said, just one day's stats are hardly the 'be-all-and-end-all'!

Plus I'm trying not to be like you know who?

The bad publicity about AZ has got em scared.
Permanent isolation would suit me just fine.

For his own good, I hope he's not Lenco. COVID is a massive trigger for him and no amount of rationalisation seems to help him. It mustn't do, or he wouldn't be going over the same stuff all the time..

I received a PM from Phil yesterday. He claims he has been banned from posting on this thread.
