I see North Korea have had their first case of Covid, crikey what a brilliant job they've done there. We can all learn from Kim.

I am having flashbacks to doing The Crucible at school now; both in English Lit. and as a school play.

I think the policy is to shoot anyone who tests positive..A new slant to the elimination strategy adopted so successfully by NZ.

I wonder how Hitler would have dealt with Covid?

Ugh @ The Crucible. What a way for a guy to turn the one of the most infamous moments in women's history to being all about a guy again... One day I'm going to write something better!

A thousand apologies...I will bear that in mind, Pain. Never heard of said Law but it could come in useful elsewhere..

Canine Covid has arrived where I live! Testing was carried out about a mile away from me but thankfully cat and owner have made a full recovery and are now feline fine... with no further transmission.

One reason to steer clear of cats with dry coughs though..

Whilst I have never been a fan of "calling Godwin" as I always felt it stifled debate, I do find the modern trend to use the term to describe things people don't like - e.g. "Mask Nazis" diminishes the absolute horror of what was perpetrated in that ideology.

I'm sorry if I offended anyone with the Hitler comment. I'm sure his desire to exterminate it would have caused horrendous carnage.

Yes. In concentration camp bunks that came down with highly contagious diseases like typhus and tb, the prisoners were just sent to the gas chambers before things could spread.

Yeah, cats can get covid, but dogs can't. Completely opposite from the severe strains of the flu, like H1N1, where dogs could get it, and cats couldn't. My vet is saying though that it's not as severe in cats as it is in humans. Other than clinical studies where some cats were pretty much sacrificed to see how much virus they could handle, no cats out of that study have died.
