"Coronavirus - closed cases." (although it now says 3%)
Uh-huh, and this is of confirmed cases. Considering all of those cases that were never reported, especially at the beginning of the pandemic, and of course asymptomatic cases making up around 35% of infections, that brings us out at around 0.5%, give or take.

You need to stop trying so hard to see the worst case scenario.

Something the late Mrs. PM regularly pointed out to me.

And she was right. Can you imagine what she would say to you now?

She would hate you to be in such distress. What would her advice be, PM?

By now she'd be ignoring me.

You must miss her terribly..and I'm sure she had her ways to manage your health anxiety successfully.

I empathise PM as with me being a similar age and my own wife having her own set of health problems...

It must be really hard for you, PM but you have to remember her wise words (or lack of them!) when you find yourself slipping down that slippery slope towards doom and gloom? She would be able to keep you on the straight and narrow..I often think of my late Dad when I'm struggling myself with life's demands and know he would be encouraging me to keep going. Keeping his voice in my head can spur me on.

Well at least this time of year people will be far less inclined to gather on beaches and in parks en masse.

And those who feel inclined to panic buy ahead of Lockdown 2 from next Thursday (5th November) will be wasting their time as there are no actual shortages of anything. If that does end up being the case it will be completely self-inflicted!

Another positive case where I was working yesterday, doubt I was exposed to the individual concerned but who knows?

I'm just hoping that the place I work gets shut down because I'm not sure my nerves can handle this.
