Wel they have finally managed to track down the 'mystery' sixth person who had tested positive for the Brazilian variant.

He/she is in Croydon, and has reportedly been self-isolating since they tested positive between 10th-13th Feb, plus surge testing is subsequently being carried out in the Croydon area as a precautionary measure in order to reassure the public.

They also mentioned that so far there are no signs of any further community transmission in said area of the Brazilian variant, which is good news.

Also this week's ONS stats are down once again, plus the national R-rate is still virtually unchanged on last week's.

    Perhaps unsurprisingly, this:

The UK must prepare for a "hard winter" because the population immunity to respiratory viruses other than Covid could be lower than usual, one of England's top medics has warned.

Maybe a national flu vaccination programme for Autumn 2021 if it's possible to guesstimate the correct strain?

I'm thinking about continuing to wear a mask when I go back to school. It was nice not getting any colds this year.

Well, we best get jabbed at the earliest opportunity then!!

But the antivaxxers will still refuse point blank till they're blue in the face, then have the audacity to be in denial when they're struck down with the flu and/or Covid, and say 'it's not my fault'!

And I'll say 'You had the opportunity to protect yourselves and you blew it'!

I have a vaccine apt next week, LB. Keep your fingers crossed for me that they don't run out before I get there!

I always get my flu shot every year. Vaccines and medicines are my friends. I refuse to suffer when a lovely pill or shot could help me along LOL

Well at least you've got a brain and live in the real world, AV.

Unlike some, who would rather worship cretins like David Icke and those of his ilk and believe all the BS CT propaganda they constantly spew out.

LOL David Icke thinks I'm a "lizard person"...but I still haven't seen any scales. And while we're on anti-semitism, I still haven't received my shipment of space lasers :P I'm deeply disappointed.

Great news about your jab, Vee! I'm nearly 2 weeks post-vaccine now and still have control over my own thoughts and have yet to grow a second head!
