Lenco, the East Staffs numbers have come down really well and continue on a nice looking downward trend so things should be good around Burton.

The .gov ward tracker would even show you the number of cases in wards you might pass through which might show things are even lower on your journey.

Ditto for my town (Tamworth), even though we had a bit of an upward blip a couple of weeks ago, but have since resumed our downward trend in cases.

BTW, my day centre is literally just around the corner from Burton train station, so just a 5-minute walk at normal pace max.

For privacy reasons, I don't wish to state the name of said day centre at this stage, especially if I have provided clues as to which one by stating its fairly close proximity to Burton train station.

Vaccine rollout looks a bit "lumpy" over the next few weeks..I felt sorry for Matt Hancock having his press conference ruined by the announcement. No way you can explain that one away with no advance warning.

I thought they have already been saying something along those lines over the past 3-4 weeks or so and that they have been having supply issues in the UK alone, so nothing new really AFAIK.

I think it was an announcement made just before 5pm, Lenco. April looks as if it's going to be a lean month for vaccines.

    Yeah, tons of conflicting info.

    Little wonder people feel confused.

But wasn't there talk of the Moderna vaccine hitting our shores over the coming weeks?

    Or is that now suspended/postponed?

Most strange, this morning they announced the over 50s....all go and book....all go and book....go go go...

then by tea time there wasn't going to be anything much in April, and no more new bookings after 29th March.

Can you try to book online for yourself, Scass?
