Nic will undergo surgery on her broken shoulder on Monday..

Understandably she isn't happy and incredibly nervous

I'm actually glad they can surgically fix it. I know, not pleasant and does make her nervous but healing will be faster.

Please give her a message from one that was broken not long ago... chin up, get it done, you're going to be a-ok!!

I'm also glad she is receiving swift treatment. It's scary but it's better now than months of pain and waiting lists.

She's been through tough times with her health from what she has said on threads to help others. She will beat this too, I have no doubt.

It's also worth remembering that right now whilst we hear about this virus everywhere it's not necessarily the case. For instance, my GP reassured us we had 2 local hospitals with no current cases. We have alsobern lucky not to have as many diagnosed in this city compared to others. So beware the sneaky what if thoughts and just take it hour by hour on the day and you will soon be back home with your feet up.

It has been an incredibly painful week for me and I am terrified of having a general tomorrow for the op but have no choice.
