Shouldn't that be aimed more at women?

Many of us non Jewish Brits are in that club since our hospitals went through a period of offering them on top of what surgery you might have, or at least my hospital was, citing cleanliness and reduced STDs. So I went in for a hernia issue as a young lad and found out my surgeon was to the medical world what the native American Indian was to the cavalry. Ouch!

Terry, men can be with men; it's okay now. And it's okay to be Jewish down there. Some women even find it more attractive.

I don't know this guy but he's right on the button. It's nice to see people coming around to the truth about a dangerous organization.

All things BLM have been very quiet in the media for ages now. The protests turning to violence, vandalism and the Churchill statue didn't quite have the effect they wanted. The government didn't take a knee (several high ranking ministers not being white) and condemned their behaviour. Some who pulled a statue down were in court recently and I don't recall a big protest and media circus. It's lost momentum here.

He's one of many footballer questioning this. Some disagree with the BLM (a group about far more than their slogan implies), some say it's not helping with abuse so it's just 'something we do' (as one said) as virtue signalling can be, others want to use a positive way forward which is NOT the BLM way.

The guy you've posted said the same a month ago. Yet in recent days The Guardians claims Zaha as the first to come out with this. Taylor is getting reported by some right wing media and some more sensationalist ones but nothing from others (including some right wing ones to be fair). So it seems they are trying to avoid the situation.

Millwall fans booed taking the knee. They were branded racists. Were they? Some may be, many may be, but some fans complained stating they booed because of the reasons Taylor mentions.

But I also think Taylor needs to think about his dual heritage points because he says he wants terms to remain how they were for him. Yet they have changed before. He says his dad is black, not coloured, yet not too far back in the past those terms were reversed.

His point about pro nouns should be a separate debate. I have no idea about this guy but football is a 'straights only' sport, a masculine sport of old where players will be hiding theirs sexuality. A long way off equality and, no offence to Taylor, I don't know enough about his stance on this.

The BLM message in sport might get dumped in favour of Kick It Out which has been started. Plenty of adverts on Sky channels about it. Hilariously having heavyweight boxing champ Anthony Joshua on it, he appears in Lynx adverts still, despite his reading of a very dodgy speech on behalf of a friend at a BLM rally. But there you go..

Good to see Taylor's manager supporting him. How would this have been received from a white player though?

Players saying it hasn't helped just makes me really when they say they are getting abuse. People already know racism us wrong. People who shout racist abuse will only shout more of it when you push back. That's just life I'm afraid but I'm sure they know this better than most.

Given the fact that just as many White people were involved as Blacks, I personally think that last summer's BLM protests here in the UK were about more than racial injustices, the protesters were probably also venting their anger and frustrations at virtually all the other injustices in our society that have been swept under the carpet for several decades now.

Let's face it, people with disabilities have been treated like crap since time immemorial and when disabled people staged a major protest in central London back in the 90s (which eventually led to the passing of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995), they was video footage of some being manhandled by heavy-handed police officers through passageways leading to/from one of the tube stations, which was perfect fodder for sparking off full-on riots.

Strangely, people hardly ever seem to riot over persons with disabilities dying as a result of police brutality.

You're right. The delusion is strong in this one Obi Wan

    FMP! Hope you are well.

Sorry all I've been super busy lately and just catching up on this thread now.

From reading a recent post where you mentioned my little jab "Corporal Flinger" (gotta admit that's a good one FMP) and my "FMPoop" (admittedly more juvenile) comments I reference your comment above. That's the second time you trotted that pretty good zinger out comparing me to a delusional s**t flinging primate. Actually it wasn't bad. I got a chuckle out of it myself.
Just a little comedic advise though, never tell the same gag to the same crowd twice. That's comedy 101.

Back in the rough and tumble urban hamlet I climbed out of a dear old friend long since passed had a phrase he would sometimes use. I think it's appropriate here:

"He can dish it out but he sure cant take it"

    RIP Birdy... and thanks.

A very good explanation of who Antifa (or as I like to call them Antifafa, The anit-fascist-fascists) really is.

Thank you Terry for the well thought out/written piece. I don't believe in so called systemic racism. You mentioned that you didn't know if players were racist or not. You could say that about anyone. Racism lies in ones heart. From where I stand the flames of racism are being fanned to promulgate a hard leftist agenda and tear down democracy. I mean a black national anthem? Huh? Didn't we work hard for desegregation?

Hey on a side note I have a couple of young friends here in work, one a Jamaican the other a kid from Central America who came here illegally. BTW the kid from Central America wouldn't have a job here if it weren't for me. A great kid. Anyway, both of them hardcore conservatives. There is hope after all.

President Truth...Oops!...I mean Trump is going to emerge this weekend at CPAC. His first public appearance since leaving the White House. It oughta be good.
