We haven't exactly excelled ourselves over Covid but the vaccine programme is definitely a huge success so far. We have stopped being pariahs and now countries are wanting to welcome the vaccinated aged Brits with open non-vaccinated arms!

While they plan on keeping some National Guard in DC until the intelligence agencies feel there is no longer a threat, DC is NOT under Martial Law. I wouldn't be surprised if a moderate contingent is stationed there and barriers remain in place for a while though.
